This vintage 1965 Fender Jaguar in original Sunburst finish with hang tag and case came through the shop a few years ago. It was a fine playing and sounding electric guitar. I'm always a buyer for vintage Fender guitars but I especially love the Jaguar model. Please contact me to sell a vintage Fender Jaguar guitar.

Fender debuted the Jaguar model in 1962 as the next jewel in the Offset Contour Body line. The Jaguar featured a slightly modified version of the Jazzmaster's offset body, proprietary shielded single coil pickups, a rhythm/lead circuit with bass cut switch, a new "Fender Mute" bridge mute and the Jazzmaster's tremolo and bridge system. Fender placed the Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars at the top of the line in the early 1960s.
This clean 1965 Fender Jaguar in original Sunburst finish has been lightly played and comes to you in excellent collectible and playable condition. We acquired the guitar from the original owner's family who retained the often lost original leather strap, hang tag (matching serial number), bridge cover and Fender Mute. All parts are original to the guitar except the strings. The neck is straight and the frets have a full life ahead of them. Both pickups have strong output. This guitar comes to ready for the studio, collection or stage (edit: sold!).
