This vintage 1964 Fender Jaguar electric guitar in rare Blond finish with red tortoiseshell pickguard came through the shop a few years ago. I'm always a vintage Fender guitar buyer but I especially love the Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars commonly called offset guitars. Please contact me here to sell a vintage Fender guitar.

This clean 1964 Fender Jaguar in rare factory custom color Blonde with Ash body has been lightly played and comes to you in excellent collectible and playable condition. All parts are original to the guitar except the strings. The neck is dead straight and the frets have a full life ahead of them. Both pickups have strong output. This guitar arrived with inconsistent performance on the bridge pickup so I sent it to Lindy Fralin for inspection. Lindy was able to repair a weak solder joint on the leads. The original pickup is reinstalled with strong output and no issues. This guitar comes to you with the original case, hang tag, and bridge cover and is ready for the studio, collection or stage (edit: sold! Thank you!)

Fender debuted the Jaguar model in 1962 as the next jewel in the Offset Contour Body line. The Jaguar featured a slightly modified version of the Jazzmaster's offset body, proprietary shielded single coil pickups, a rhythm/lead circuit with bass cut switch, a new "Fender Mute" bridge mute and the Jazzmaster's tremolo and bridge system. Fender placed the Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars at the top of the line in the early 1960s. Custom colors were offered for offset guitars with common colors including Olympic White, Candy Apple Red, and Lake Placid Blue. More rare colors include Fiesta Red, Sonic Blue and Blonde with Ash body.
