This vintage 1965 Fender Jaguar in original Fiesta Red custom color finish came through the shop a few years it. It was a fine example of this color which looks similar to a salmon pink. I'm always a buyer for vintage Fender guitars but I especially love custom color Jaguars. You can contact me here to sell a Fender guitar.Â

Fender debuted the Jaguar model in 1962 as the next jewel in the offset line. The Jaguar featured a slightly modified version of the Jazzmaster’s offset body, proprietary shielded single coil pickups, a rhythm/lead circuit with bass cut switch, a new “Fender Mute” bridge mute and the Jazzmaster’s tremolo and bridge system. Fender placed the Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars at the top of the line in the early 1960s. Custom colors with matching headstocks were offered for offset guitars but were very rarely ordered in the orangey/red/pinkish color that Fender called "Fiesta Red."
This 1965 Fender Jaguar in rare custom color Fiesta Red with matching headstock has just come out of retirement in excellent condition. All parts are original to the guitar except for one added pickguard screw near the bass bridge stud. The guitar required nothing but cleaning, setup, and a fresh set of strings. It's in excellent playing condition with very little fret wear. The original Fender case was discarded long ago in favor of a more protective case so we sourced a period correct, no raised metal logo case. There is a small area of buckle wear on the back. Fiesta Red is truly a color that has to be seen in person.Â
