Gibson's Les Paul Classic model debuted in 1990 at a few hundred dollars more than the Standard at the time. Vintage minded Les Paul players soon noticed that the Classic was ever so slightly closer to the original LP than even the '59 Reissue which at the time listed at almost three times the price. The pre-1993 Classic's vintage correct specifications include a smaller headstock, push in tuner bushings, '60 neck profile, thin binding in the cutaway, aged fretboard inlays, inked serial number, nickel hardware, and vintage style headstock logo ending in "Model" like an original instead of "Classic."
This clean 1992 Gibson Les Paul Classic in rare left handed dexterity has survived in excellent condition and is ready for the stage, studio, or collection. It does show light wear from being played but remains in perfect playing condition. All parts appear to be original to the guitar including the Gibson USA hard case. The lock latch on the case has been removed. We're confident you'll love the tone and playability of this 1992 Gibson Les Paul Classic!
