Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary 1974
I'm thrilled to offer this exceptionally clean Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary from 1974 that has just come in from its original owner! She purchased it new from her guitar teacher who may have been a Gibson Teacher Agent. They were able to order guitars direct from the factory to sell to their students and I often see them marked "2" for factory second just like this one. I wasn't able to find any reason for this to be marked a 2nd. It's in exceptional condition with no finish checking, breaks, or repairs.
Make and Model: Gibson Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary
Year: Late 1974 made during the transition to serial numbers applied to stickers on the back of the headstock. The serial number sticker fell off the guitar long ago.
Measurements: 10 lbs 13 oz total weight. 1 11/16" nut width, neck profile measuring
Condition: Excellent with no finish checking! There is some typical gold plating tarnish on the tailpiece, a scratch on the back of the neck, and a scratch or two on the back of the body. Otherwise, it's near mint.
Playability: Like new with a straight neck, proper working truss rod, and no fret wear.
Case: The original Gibson supplied purple interior hard shell case is included.
