1959 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed
This vintage 1959 Fender Deluxe Amp with 5E3 circuit and narrow panel cabinet has just come in from the family of its original owner! It's in spectacular original condition and sounds like a dream.
I'm always a Fender amp buyer but I'm especially looking to buyer clean 1950s and 1960s Fender guitar amps. You can contact me here to sell a Fender amp.
Make and Model: Fender Deluxe-Amp, 5E3 circuit, narrow panel
Year: 1959. Tube chart ink stamp "IG" (I = 1959, G = July), speaker date code "220847" (220 = Jensen, 8 = 1958, 34 = 47th week). Check out How to date a Fender amp.
Originality: 100%! All parts are original to this amp including tubes, transformer, and speaker except for a period correct handle. The original handle was broken so I purchased a late 50s leather Fender amp handle for it (not a repro).
Condition: Excellent! This amp has just emerged from being stored for decades. Apart from a moisture line on either side as well as cosmetic moisture intrusion on the bottom, it's spectacular.
Playability: This amp performed perfectly during my 10 minute test. NOTE: I recommend full service with grounded power cord and new filter capacitors before playing for any amount of time. I would be happy to have it serviced for you if you prefer.
