This pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is in solid original condition with natural occurring wear. The initial appearance of the guitar is unmistakably vintage Fender. It's in proper playing condition and ready to go back on the road. Judy's husband purchased this guitar used in 1965 and played it until the decline of his health in the early 1990s. The guitar went in the closet where it has remained until now.

While the Jazzmaster model never really appealed to the Jazz musician market, it seems to have a lasting appeal to just about all other types of guitar players. The offset body and endless tonal combinations were just what the burgeoning Surf scene musicians were looking for. The Jazzmaster model has been in production in some form since late 1958 with the exception of a short hiatus from 1982-1987.
