This clean vintage 1963 Gibson ES-330 TDC guitar came through the shop last year. It was a fine playing electric guitar and an excellent example of a 1960s Gibson electric. Year of Manufacture: 1963, serial 104xxx, wide nut, light pore filler, nickel pickup covers and parts
Specifications: 1 11/16" nut width (wide, pre-1965), 24 3/4" scale, weight = 6 lbs, 2 oz
Condition: Excellent, almost no fading. Light scratches and very little finish checking observed.
Repairs or modifications: Appears to be all original parts except for a few replaced Nylon saddles. Recent set up with light fret dress, neck and frets in excellent condition. Small chip at top treble side of the headstock and one bent tuner.
Notes: An excellent example of one of only 652 ES-330TDC guitars made by Gibson in 1963. The original P-90 pickups are warm and full. The wide nut and medium girth neck profile are a joy to play all the way up the fretboard. The original case shows little wear and has two replaced screws holding the handle mount to the case.
