This amazingly clean vintage 1963 Fender Champ Amp with original tweed covering came through the shop last year. It was very well preserved and a fine sounding example of the model. I'm always a buyer for vintage Fender guitar amplifiers but I especially love the Champ model. Please contact me to sell a vintage Fender guitar amplifier.
From the 1962 Fender catalog, "The Champ Amp is constructed of the finest cabinet design. Circuit provides extremely pleasing reproduction. Speaker is a fine quality permanent magnet type. The Champ Amp has two instrument inputs, volume control, jeweled pilot light, and extractor type fuse holder. The amp covering is striped airplane luggage linen which is both durable and washable."
This January 1963 Fender Champ Amp has just surfaced in completely original, unserviced condition. We were thrilled to find such a clean and unmolested example of the 5F1 Champ so late in its production run. It has just been serviced with new filter capacitors from our technician. It's a killer sounding Champ and a very fine example of the model. We're confident you'll love this clean 1963 Fender Champ~Amp!
