This amazing 1961 Gibson ES-330 electric guitar in original Sunburst finish came through the shop a few years ago. It's an excellent example of an early 1960s thinline electric guitar. I'm always a vintage Gibson guitar buyer but I especially love the ES-330 guitars. Please contact me here to sell a vintage Gibson guitar.

From the Gibson catalog, 1960: "A wonderful instrument with truly magical tone available in single and double pickup models. The double cutaway body and thin silhouette make it wonderfully easy to hold and play." High praise from the company simultaneously manufacturing the Les Paul Standard and ES-335td. An ES-330td in Sunburst could be purchased from your local Gibson dealer for $250 in 1960.
This 1961 Gibson ES-330 has just come out of retirement from the widow of the original owner. All parts appear to be original to the guitar except for a professional refret by Jason at Burns Repair, reproduction ABR-1 bridge with the original (warped) bridge in the case, and a non-factory installed but period correct Bigsby tailpiece. The finish is original but was removed from the back of the neck. There is some light surface scratching on the top of the body that's only visible in the right light. Lindy Fralin was able to repair the original coil on the neck pickup and it sounds excellent. Jason just completed the refret and performed a full setup. The guitar is an absolute joy to play and the Bigsby is smooth but very stable (edit: sold!)
