Harmony's line of electric guitars featured DeArmond's "Golden Tone" pickups and American made electronics. The bodies were hollow and had bolt on necks for easy construction and set ups. The Rebel model received a truss rod, adjustable pole pickups and an adjustable bridge; all hard to find in a Harmony guitar.
This guitar is all set up and ready to go. The DeArmond pickups are hot and a little microphonic (like all good vintage pickups). The setup is great and there are no repairs. The sliding pots are notorious for being a tad scratchy and these are no exception. All parts are original and it is missing the tremolo bar.
This one is perfect that Black Keys style garage/blues/rock music. The gold foil pickups really live up to the hype. This is my go to blues guitar for that very reason.
