Fender's Deluxe model amplifier has become an industry standard for solid body electric guitar tone since its introduction in 1948. Like the Telecaster, the Deluxe was a common early entry into rock and roll genre that helped to define the sound of popular music for decades to come. The "TV Front" cabinet has a cool early vibe and is constructed from solid finger-jointed Pine.
This nice 1950 Fender Deluxe has survived in very nice condition and is ready for the stage or studio. Both transformers and speaker are original to the amp although the Jensen P12R appears to have been reconed at some point. We've updated the filter capacitors and a few coupling caps in order to correct for leakage and reliability. We installed a three prong power cord for safety. This TV Front Deluxe is a fantastic example of the model that's ready to go back to work. We're confident you'll enjoy the thick cleans and smooth breakup (edit: sold!)
