This 1966 Gibson EDS-1275 "Double 12" doubleneck guitar is among the rarest solid body guitars that Gibson made in the mid 1960s. Surviving production figures list only

EDS-1275s (12+6) shipped in 1966 and a grand total of only 110 shipped between 1958 and 1967. I'm proud to offer this guitar to the market for the first time since it was sold new.

Condition: Very very clean with no breaks or repairs ever.

There is no finish checking. There is a scratch next to the toggle switch and a bit of forearm wear on the edge of the body.

Originality: 100% except the strings.

Measurements: 10.5 lbs / 4.75 kg total weight. 6 string neck: 1 9/16" wide at the nut, .88" deep at the first fret, and 1.04" deep at the 12th fret. 12 string neck: 1 9/16" wide at the nut, 0.92" deep at the first fret, and 1.02" deep at the 12th fret.

Playability: Excellent! It's a great playing example with full height frets and factory crowns.

Needs?: Nothing.

Included: Just the guitar as pictured and a used hardshell case (non-original).

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
