Fender Stratocaster 1962
This 1962 Fender Stratocaster is one of the latest slab fretboard Strats I've seen with a May '62 neck date! I purchased it from the grandson of its original owner out of Oliver, BC in Canada. It's 100% original inside and out and in fantastic playing condition.
Measurements: 7.4 lbs / 3.35 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.67" / 42.4 mm wide at the nut, 0.80" deep at the first fret, and 0.97" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 6.0k ohms, the middle reads 5.72k ohms, and the bridge reads 5.85k ohms.
Originality: 100% original inside and out.
Playability: Excellent! Everything performs exactly as the manufacturer intended it.
Included: The original Canadian export case and hang tag with matching serial number are included.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.

Fender Stratocasters: Better with a Hardtail?
There is something different about a Fender Stratocaster that's been lovingly played and cherished for half a century. My favorite Stratocaster we've been fortunate enough to have in the shop this year, and frankly one of my favorite guitars of all time was a 1960 Fender Stratocaster in sunburst. Sounds boring right? Well, this Strat has a trick up its sleeve. It left the factory with a "Hardtail" configuration.
