Fender Stratocaster 1958
This 1958 Fender Stratocaster has survived in really nice condition and is 100% original except for a rewound neck pickup! It still has its original bright three tone Sunburst finish and is a fantastic player as well.
Measurements: 7.5 lbs / 3.4 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.62" wide at the nut, 0.82" deep at the first fret, and 0.98" deep at the 12th with a C shape. The neck pickup reads 5.26k ohms, middle reads 5.35k ohms, and the bridge reads 5.5k ohms (all typical late 1950s readings).
Originality: All finish, parts, and solder are original to this guitar except the coil on the neck pickup (original bobbin and magnets).
Condition: Clean with nice checking on the finish. This one has a particularly well preserved logo on the peghead (most '58 logos deteriorate).
Playability: Very good! The only thing keeping it from being exceptional is some fret height on original small frets. The neck is straight, truss rod operates as intended, and electronics function as intended.
Included: The original tweed hardshell case, original strap, and bridge cover are included.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
