1976 Fender Starcaster Natural
This vintage Fender Starcaster guitar came through the shop a few months ago. I loved the flame Maple visible through the Natural finish but I'm especially looking for White and Black Starcasters. Please contact me here to sell a Fender Starcaster guitar.
Check out another vintage Fender Starcaster guitar that's come through the shop recently:
Vintage 1976 Fender Starcaster guitar Sunburst finish
Make and Model: Fender Starcaster Natural
Year: 1976, serial 719xxx
Specifications: Thinline archtop electric with solid center block, hollow wings with thin F holes, two Seth Lover designed Wide Range Humbucking pickups. Neck depth at the first fret = .85", depth at the 12th fret = .95", nut width = 1 5/8", total weight 8lbs 5oz.
Originality: All parts original except the strings and the volume/tone knobs. They are vintage replacements. The original pickguard is missing.
Condition: Very good with no breaks or repairs. Cosmetically, the finish is very clean but has some light belt buckle worming on the back of the body. The original nut appears to have been reseated in its slot. The original case is in great structural condition but shows staining on the lid.
Playability: Excellent! It’s a dream to play. I've shimmed the sides of the neck pocket for a tight fit and used a Stew Mac neck shim for the bottom of the neck to the neck pocket joint. The joint is rock solid and doesn't move. The neck is straight and the frets are in great shape.
Notes: I must admit I've been holding this one out for a few months! I love Fender Starcasters and it had been a while since I had one in the shop. I played a 2 hour gig with this one in December and it performed beautifully throughout with no issues. I'm confident you'll love this clean 1976 Fender Starcaster with loads of flame!
