1971 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop
This vintage 1971 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe goldtop has just arrived in spectacular near mint condition with its original hard shell case and hang tag. It also happens to feature a '59 neck profile! It's in excellent playing condition and ready for the stage, studio, or collection.
Make and Model: Gibson Les Paul Deluxe
Year: 1971. Serial 952xxx, potentiometer date code "137 71xx" (137 = Chicago Telephone Supply, 71 = 1971, xx week covered by solder). Check out How to date a vintage Gibson Les Paul.
Measurements: 9 lbs 10oz total weight, neck depth at the first fret = .87", depth at the 12th = 1.03"
Originality: All parts original to the guitar except the jack plate and switch tip and no cracks or repairs! The cracked original switch tip is included but the original jack plate was not with the guitar when I got it.
Condition: Near mint with no fade. There's some light buckle worming on the back and a spot of pick wear on the pickguard.
Playability: Excellent! The neck is straight, frets are good, and the action is low across the fretboard.
