1968 Gibson J-45 Black
This 1968 Gibson J-45 ADJ in original factory custom color Black finish with white pickguard has just arrived from its original owner! It's a fantastic playing example with deep rumbly Gibson flat-top tone.
Year: 1968. Serial 800xxx.
Specifications: 1 9/16" nut width, .85" neck depth at the first fret, 4 lbs 5 oz total weight.
Originality: All parts original to the guitar except the nut!
Condition: Very good with plenty of finish checking. No breaks or repairs except for a professional bridge reglue in the 90s.
Playability: Excellent! The neck relief measure .005" and the action sits at a comfortable 3/32" bass side and 2/32" treble side when measured at the 12th fret. There is room to lower the saddle further if necessary.
