1968 Gibson ES-330 Black Long Neck With Tooled Leather Western Case

Regular price $17,995.00

I purchased this very rare 1968 Gibson ES-330 in original factory Black finish with original Western case from its original owner outside of Austin, TX. Her dad owned a music store in Michigan and was a Gibson dealer. She received this guitar as a Christmas gift in 1970 exactly as it is today. It still has old Gibson made orange silk wrapped flat wound strings on it. This is the only factory Black ES-330 in the long neck joint variety and the only zebra lined tooled leather Western case I've ever seen.

Measurements: 6.2lbs (2.8 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.59" (1 9/16", 40.8mm) wide at the nut, 0.82" deep at the first fret, and 1.02" deep at the 12th fret (medium taper profile). The neck pickup reads 7.92k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 7.75k ohms.

Originality: All parts, finish, and solder are original to this guitar.

Playability: Excellent. The neck is straight, frets have little wear, and the electronics operate as intended.

Condition: Excellent.

Included: The original white tooled leather "Western" hardshell case with zebra lining is included.

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
