1968 Fender Princeton Reverb Amp

$1.00

This vintage 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb amp has survived in nice condition with its original transformers and speaker! It is fully serviced and ready to make music again.

Make and Model: Fender Princeton Reverb Amp

Year: 1968. Chassis stamp "T2168" (21st week of 1968), output transformer code "606-8-14" (606 = Schumacher, 8 = 1968, 14 = 14th week). Check out How to date a vintage Fender guitar amp.

Originality: All parts appear to be original to the amplifier except for a replaced 1970s era reverb tank, one bias section capacitor, and a three prong power cord.

Service: My technician installed a grounded power cord in place of the original and replaced a capacitor in the bias section for safety.

Playability: Excellent! This is a fantastic sounding example even on its original tubes. I could hear some very subtle ghost noises intermittently but we attribute those to the original tubes. The amp sounds fantastic so we decided not to replace them at this time.
