We’re pleased to offer this 1966 Fender Precision Bass in factory original custom color Olympic White. This bass is a true example of Fender’s mid-60s craftsmanship and a solid piece of Fender history from the CBS era.
Make and Model: Fender Precision Bass, factory original custom color Olympic White
Year: 1966, serial 147281. The potentiometer codes read "304 6618" (304 = Stackpole, 66 = 1966, and 18 = 18th week).
Specifications: 34″ scale length Rosewood fretboard, 1.72″ nut width, .84″ neck depth at the first fret, 1″ neck depth at the 12th fret, 9.3lbs and 4.2kg.
Originality: All parts appear to be original. I replaced the foam underneath the pickups to gain proper height.
Condition: Very good with no breaks or repairs. There are various nicks and scratches throughout.
Playability: Excellent! The frets are in great condition and the neck is straight with a properly working truss rod.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
