1966 Fender Jazzmaster Olympic White

$0.00

We're thrilled to offer this very clean and perfect playing 1966 Fender Jazzmaster in factory Olympic White finish that we purchased from its original owner! It's an interesting example that may shed light on some of Fender's operations in 1966 in that the body has a factory refinish mark, but the neck does not. The evidence suggests that this body may have been an unused part from a few years earlier (nail holes) but was refinished to white in the factory to fulfill this order.

Measurements: 8.0 lbs (3.65 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.68" wide at the nut, 0.89" deep at the first fret, and 0.93" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 6.70k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 6.61k ohms.

Originality: This Jazzmaster is all original which includes a CBS factory refin on the body. The finish on the neck is all original.

Playability: Excellent. The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, frets have very little wear, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.

Condition: Very good with hardly no finish checking and nicks, dings, and scratches. There is a section on the back of the lower cutaway where you can see refin work, as well as a section where words from a book/pamphlet have imprinted onto the finish.

Included: The original case, hang tag, strap, quarter inch cable, and tremolo arm are included.

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
