1965 Gibson SG Custom White Bigsby (Full Wide Neck)

With a full wide neck (1 11/16") and 5th week of 1964 potentiometer codes, we believe that this Gibson SG Custom was made in 1964 but shipped in early 1965. We were thrilled to find this one with an original Bigsby B5 tailpiece too! It's very clean, original, and has never had a neck repair of any kind. We bought this from a gentleman in Panama City Beach, Florida, whose wife bought this for him years ago as a gift. 

Measurements: 7.6 lbs / 3.45 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.71" wide at the nut (1 11/16"), 0.79" deep at the 1st fret, and 0.96" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 7.38k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 8.14k ohms.

Originality: All parts and finish are original except one reflector top to a volume knob. Pot codes read 137 6405. 137 = CTS, 64 = 1964, 05 = 5th week of the year. 

Playability: Excellent! 

Condition: Very good! The gold parts have light oxidation. It has never suffered a neck break or repair.
