1965 Fender Mustang Red
Couldn't load pickup availability
We're pleased to offer this clean, all original 1965 Fender Mustang finished in Red. Playing this instrument is an absolute pleasure due to its 22.5" scale length. This example came to us all the way from Mason City, Iowa from the son of the original owner who kept it in fantastic condition. If you're looking for a vintage Fender at custom shop price, look no further.
Measurements: 7.1 lbs (3.25 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.49" wide at the nut, 0.83" deep at the first fret, and 1.01" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 5.54k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 5.41k ohms.
Originality: This Mustang is all original other than an added shim to the neck pocket.
Playability: Excellent. The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, frets have very little wear, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.
Condition: The original nut was re-glued and scratches on the back of the body were sanded and buffed out. Very good with typical nicks and dings.
Included: The original case is included.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
