1963 Gibson Les Paul Standard SG
Check out this fat neck 1963 Gibson Les Paul Standard SG! This one has the perfect 59-ish neck profile measuring 0.85" deep at the first fret and 1.00" deep at the 12th fret, has the more stable Deluxe Vibrola (Lyre) tailpiece, but still bears the Les Paul signature on the truss rod cover. In my opinion, this is the perfect combination of features for the player. It's all original except a beautiful refret inside the binding with replaced nut. This one has never had a neck joint or headstock issue.
Measurements: 7.2 lbs / 3.3 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.72"/ 43.6mm wide at the nut, 0.85" deep at the 1st fret, and 1.00" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 7.85k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 7.75k ohms.
Originality: All parts and solder appear to be original to this guitar except the nut and frets. It's just had a meticulous refret inside the binding with factory size fret wire.
Playability: Killer! The neck is straight, the refret is perfect, and the electronics function as intended.
Condition: Good but has significant fading of the red stain. It has no prior breaks or repairs.
Included: The original Lifton case is included.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
