1961 Gibson Les Paul Junior Cherry
Couldn't load pickup availability
We're pleased to offer this 1961 Gibson Les Paul Junior in original Cherry finish we recently purchased from its original owner in Bradenton, FL. It's a great example of the offset bridge post variety of the Les Paul Junior with SG body style. Gibson would update the model with to the lightning bar bridge with equidistant posts the following year.
Measurements: 6.8 lbs / 3.1 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.70" wide at the nut, 0.83" deep at the 1st fret, and 0.89" deep at the 12th fret. The pickup reads 8.93k ohms.
Originality: This Junior appears to be all original except for the tremolo arm and mounting screw.
Playability: Very good! The neck is straight, the original frets show little wear, and the electronics function as intended.
Condition: Amazing! The original Cherry finish is vibrant and unfaded. There's typical nicks, dings, scratches, and a very slightly warped pickguard.
Included: The original alligator case is included.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
