1960 Gibson ES-345 TD Cherry Red

Regular price $1.00

Check out this PAF loaded 1960 Gibson ES-345 TD in original Cherry Red finish! Both pickups are undisturbed and all parts are original to the guitar except the switch tip and three tuner buttons. The output jack is currently configured for mono output, but I can easily have it put back to stereo if you prefer.

Measurements: 7.7lbs (3.50 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.68" (42.5mm) wide at the nut, 0.79" deep at the first fret, and 0.89" deep at the 12th fret (slim profile). The neck pickup reads 8.30k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 7.65k ohms.

Dates: The FON prefix "R" indicates that the build began in 1960 and the serial number A 35588 indicates that it shipped from Gibson in late 1960.

Originality: All parts, finish, and solder are original except for the switch tip and three tuner buttons.

Playability: Great! The neck is straight and the electronics operate as intended. The neck profile is slim almost like the '61s. The original frets have been dressed long ago and have plenty of life ahead of them.

Condition: Good with typical finish checking.

Included: The original Lifton hardshell case is included.

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
