1957 Fender Precision Bass Sunburst
Couldn't load pickup availability
This clean and original January 1957 Fender Precision Bass is a spectacular player with straight neck and original coil. Apart from one bridge saddle adjustment screw and the mute foam, it's 100% original and has never been abused. The soft v neck profile is a joy to play and the action is comfortable up and down the neck.
Measurements: 8.5lbs (3.90 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.73" wide at the nut, 0.94" deep at the first fret, and 1.01" deep at the 12th fret. The pickup reads 6.60k ohms.
Dates: The neck heel pencil date reads "1/57".
Originality: 100% original finish, parts, and solder except for one adjustment screw (saddle intonation) and the mute foam.
Playability: Amazing. The neck is straight and the action is low across the fretboard.
Condition: Very good. There is typical finish checking, nicks/dings/scratches, but it's clearly been babied its entire life.
Included: Original tweed case with Koylon tag.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
