Gibson Les Paul Model Goldtop 1955 with Tune-O-Matic

Gibson Les Paul Model Goldtop 1955 with Tune-O-Matic

$1.00

I'm proud to present this late 1955 Gibson Les Paul Model with Tune-O-Matic bridge that's just come in from its original owner! This is a really great example that's light weight and plays like a dream.

Do you have one you're considering selling? Contact me here:

Measurements: 8.2 lbs / 3.7 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.69" / 43mm wide at the nut, 0.89" deep at the first fret and 0.99" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup measures 7.47k ohms and the bridge pickup measures 7.64k ohms.

Originality: All finish, parts, and solder are original to this guitar except the switch, switch ring, and one capacitor. The original switch is included and appears to be in working condition, but the original ring is missing.

Playability: Excellent! This is a very nice playing example with straight neck, nice original frets, proper working truss rod, and proper working electronics.

Condition: Very good. There is typical scratching on the back of the body and typical finish checking on the gold top. There is a chip of the holly peghead veneer missing from the top treble side of the headstock. It has suffered no breaks or repairs.

Included: The original hardshell Lifton case is included. The inside has a slight musty smell, but the guitar has no smell at all.

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period on all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from refunds in the case of a return.
