Fender Stratocaster 1959 Sunburst
I'm thrilled to present this 1959 Fender Stratocaster with original Sunburst finish and slab Rosewood fretboard! It's a fantastic light weight example with no repairs save for a careful neck pickup rewind. All parts are original to the guitar except the nut (cracked original retained in the case). It's a really great player too on original frets with plenty of life left in them.
Measurements: 7.2 lbs / 3.3 kg total weight (!). The neck pickup reads 5.73k ohms, middle reads 6.02k ohms, and the bridge reads 5.86k ohms. The neck measures 1.69"/43mm wide at the nut, 0.80" deep at the first fret, and 0.98" deep at the 12th fret.
Originality: All finish, parts, and solder appear to be original to the guitar except the nut and the springs on the bridge saddles. The neck pickup was rewound vintage correctly with Formvar wire (disturbed grommet solder only).
Playability: Excellent! It's a spectacular playing example with straight neck, proper working truss rod, and proper working electronics. It's a blast to play.
Included: Original hard shell case and tremolo arm
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period on all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from refunds in the case of a return.
