1967 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst Tortoise Shell Pickguard
Couldn't load pickup availability
We were blown away when this 1967 Fender Stratocaster with tort guard in its original sunburst finish came through our door! We've had a lot of great Stratocasters come through this shop, but this is the first actual '67 Strat we've been able to find. While actual production figures are unknown, '67 does appear to be the lowest production year for this model in the 1960s.
Measurements: 7.8lbs (3.55 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.62" wide at the nut, 0.86" deep at the first fret, and 0.93" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 5.59k ohms, the middle pickup reads 5.61k ohms, and the bridge pickup reads 5.60k ohms.
Originality: This Strat is original aside from a replaced 1970s volume potentiometer, two 1960s tone potentiometers, an excellent refret, and a replaced nut. The tremolo arm is a modern replacement.
Playability: Amazing! The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, frets have very little wear, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.
Condition: Excellent with typical nicks, dings, and scratches and some light finish wear on the back of the neck.
Included: The original case, bridge cover, and a reissue tremolo arm are included with this guitar.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
