If you're looking for where to sell vintage Fender, Gibson, and other guitars then you have come to the right place. I curate a small, hand picked collection of quality vintage guitars and gear. I'm always looking to buy clean vintage Gibson Les Paul guitars, Fender Telecaster guitars, Fender Jazzmaster guitars and more. I'm always out looking for vintage Gibson and Fender guitars so I'm usually on the road. In 2019, I drove to Detroit to buy a vintage 1962 Gibson ES-335, Illinois to buy a vintage 1960 Gibson ES-335, Abilene, Texas to buy a vintage 1957 Fender Telecaster, and Houston, Texas to buy a 1961 Gibson ES-335. I don't mind coming to you to pay a fair price in person for your prized vintage Fender or Gibson guitar. If it's too far to drive then I'm happy to fly there and buy in person as well. I flew to Missoula, Montana to purchase this clean 1941 Gibson SJ-100 in May of 2019.
As a vintage guitar dealer, it's not always convenient to drive or fly to a guitar or amplifier. If I can't come to you then I can still make a deal happen quickly and safely for you. I will cover the cost of professional packing and shipping to make sure we are both protected in a transaction. If you've inherited a vintage Fender or Gibson guitar and do not intend to learn to play, you may wish to sell your guitar to a player who will cherish it.
I want you to be fully informed about your guitar so you can make a good decision when selling your vintage guitar. I offer an appraisal service for qualified vintage guitars and amplifiers from Gibson, Fender, Martin, Epiphone, and more. My area of expertise is 1930s through the 1970s. I may decline to appraise a guitar if it doesn't fall within my area of expertise. For just $68, you can get an appraisal for insurance purposes for your prized vintage Gibson, Martin, Fender, or Epiphone guitar. I appraise vintage guitars for their replacement value which is what an insurance company will need to insure your vintage guitar. You'll receive a full description of the year, make, and model of the guitar or amplifier as well as any special characteristics, modifications, or repairs. Contact me here if you would like to have your vintage Gibson or Fender guitar appraised: https://truevintageguitar.com/pages/vintage-guitar-appraisal-service.
