He inherited the guitar after his grandad passed in 1998 and has done a great job preserving it. He sold the guitar to help fund his education and I'm proud to help out with that. The guitar shows its age in light checking but is clean and correct in all the important ways. Even the original frets show only light wear. I'm excited to get it back home and hear how it sounds with some light cleaning and a proper set up.

I'm always looking to buy clean vintage Gibson guitar but I especially love vintage Gibson Les Pauls. The gold top finished guitars from 1952 until 1957 are some of my favorites.
