This vintage 1964 Fender Stratocaster in worn Sunburst finish came through the shop a few years ago. Its original owner played and loved the guitar his entire life and the guitar has the wear to prove it! It was still a fine playing and sounding Stratocaster. I'm always a vintage Fender guitar buyer but I especially love the Stratocaster model. Please contact me here to sell a Fender Stratocaster guitar.

Leo Fender’s Stratocaster model debuted in 1954 and became arguably the most popular guitar ever made. The revolutionary design included a player friendly contoured body with three pickups and a proprietary combination bridge/tremolo design that allowed for smooth operation and good tuning stability. The Stratocaster was a huge commercial success and has been in continuous production ever since.
This one owner July 1964 Fender Stratocaster has been thoroughly enjoyed but comes to you in good playing condition. All parts appear to be original to the guitar except for a few saddle adjustment screws and the strings. The original finish is well worn but exhibits no evidence of touch up or repair. We did nothing to the guitar except clean the fretboard and frets, clean and lubricate the original three position switch and potentiometers, adjust the truss rod, and install a new set of .10 gauge strings from D’Addario.
