Joe purchased a brand new Gibson Trini Lopez Standard guitar from his guitar teacher back in the 1960s in California. It was strung with flat wound strings, so that's how he played it. He is a life long musician and still loves to play the guitar. His Fender Telecaster was receiving much more attention as of late so he decided to sell his Trini Lopez.

I could tell that Joe took great care of his instruments even when he was young. Apart from some fret wear, the guitar is very clean and well preserved. It's still in excellent playing condition. I'm thrilled to have it!
