I am a Gibson guitar buyer every day of the week, but especially for vintage left handed Gibson guitars! This Gibson Melody Maker D was made in 1964. Gibson didn't have a compensated wrap tail bridge for left handed guitars, so they reverted to the older style uncompensated wrap tail with offset bridge posts. I purchased this guitar from the gentleman in this photo which was dated April 3, 1972.
I am always looking to buy clean vintage Gibson guitars and I love to get copies of photos from back in the day. I'm so thankful that my friends sent this picture. You can contact me here to sell a vintage Gibson guitar.
