Make and Model: Gretsch 6187 Viking
Year: 1967. Serial 27xx, no "Made In USA" stamp
Specifications: 25 1/2" scale length, 8lbs 14oz, 1 11/16" nut width, .81" neck depth at the first fret.
Originality: All parts appear to be original except for the screws holding the plastic back plate on (under the black leather pad) and the foam mute material
Condition: Very good! It exhibits typical but minimal binding rot but the finish is very nice.
Playability: Very good! All the electronics function very well. The neck is straight with a proper truss rod adjustment but it does exhibit typical rising tongue.
Notes: Just in! This killer '67 Gretsch Viking has survived in very nice condition and even still has its tuning fork bridge. I was quite surprised by the tuning fork when I played it the first time. Be sure to watch the entire video for an in depth look at this rare vintage Gretsch. I'm confident you'll love it!
