1966 Fender Jaguar Black with matching headstock

Here is a very exciting guitar that came through the shop this past weekend (edit: a few years ago and now sold). Black is a very rare custom color for Fender Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars. Fender didn't make many black matching headstocks because the black text on the logo sticker isn't visible on a black headstock. Still, a few black matching headstocks left the factory with the Fender logo in gold and no model text. This guitar is in excellent original condition and retains all the original parts except the bridge cover. Fender manufactured these guitars with neck binding and dot fretboard markers for a short time between mid 1965 and early 1966. We're honored to have had this guitar for a short time.
