This vintage 1969 Fender Telecaster guitar was originally an off white color that Fender called Olympic White but has faded to more of a yellow look. It had been played a lot but still played like a dream and was a fine sounding electric guitar. I'm always a vintage Fender guitar buyer but I especially love vintage Telecasters. Leo Fender's Telecaster model broke boundaries and has remained a standard in both the vintage playing and collecting guitar arenas. The Telecaster has been in constant production since its introduction as the Broadcaster in 1951. The standard Telecaster went through modest changes for a Fender guitar throughout the early 1970s. The Telecaster always featured two single coil pickups, solid Ash body (usually, for opaque finishes) and Maple neck with a four bolt neck joint. There has always been a market for the Fender Telecaster.

This Telecaster has survived in nice vintage condition and continues to be a solid playable and collectible guitar. The original Olympic White finish is nicely faded with that classic look and patina. Both pickups are strong and exhibit that classic 1960s Tele tone: bright and clear with strong but not overpowering output. All parts are original to the guitar except for a recent pro refret with stock size wire and replaced bone nut. The guitar plays like new but has that classic tone and feel. This 1969 Fender Telecaster is set up and ready to go back on the stage, in the studio or in your private collection. The nitrocellulose Olympic White finish has faded nicely and has the look of a well played but nicely kept vintage electric guitar.
