The 1960s Fender amplifiers with Reverb have been an industry standard for electric guitar tone since their introduction in 1964. The Deluxe Reverb is the most popular of the line with its manageable ~22 watt output and 12″ speaker. The Reverb and Tremolo that this amp features has become the benchmark by which many other amp builders have based their circuit and tonal aspirations.
I'm always looking to buy vintage Fender guitars, especially Fender Coronado guitars. Do you have one you're looking to sell? You can reach out to me here at the Sell Fender Guitar page. I'm looking forward to seeing it!
This 1969 Fender Deluxe Reverb-Amp has just come from original owner and has survived in excellent condition. James received this amp, along with a Gibson ES-335td, for his birthday in 1970. He played it sparingly throughout the years but always took great care of it. The only service it's ever received is a few solder joints reflowed on the board and a shrink wrap cover on one of the reverb cables. It's still got all the original RCA tubes, footswitch, and Oxford 12J5 large magnet speaker. The original filter capacitors performed properly during our 10 minute test but we recommend they be updated along with a three prong power cord for safety as soon as possible. We're confident you'll love the tone and cool silverface aesthetic from this clean, one owner 1969 Fender Deluxe Reverb-Amp!
