This clean vintage 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb guitar amplifier came through the shop last year. It's a nice example of the drip edge/black line era Fender amps. I'm always a vintage Fender amp buyer but I especially love the 1960s Princeton Reverbs. Please contact me here to sell a vintage Fender guitar amp.
"PRINCETON/REVERB: A performance proven favorite among students, studio operators and guitar teachers everywhere! Make and Model: Fender Princeton Reverb~Amp
Year: Early 1968
Specifications: 12 watts RMS power, all tube, push-pull configuration matched 6v6 power tubes, 10" large magnet Oxford speaker (10J5 model), tube driven Reverb and Tremolo
Originality: All parts appear to be original except replaced power tubes, preamp tubes, and one electrolytic capacitor. Replacement tubes are made in USA with 1980 date codes. The original two prong power cord is in good condition and hasn't been replaced.
Condition: Very good with wear and tarnish on the faceplate, nicks and scratches on the Tolex, overall pretty nice condition.
Playability: Very good. I’ve just completed a cleaning and inspection. I cleaned and lubricated all the potentiometers, cleaned and tensioned tube sockets, cleaned knobs, vacuumed and wiped down the interior of the cabinet.
Notes: This Princeton Reverb has everything you need. Not only that, but it has all the cool nerd vintage Fender features from a really short time span - late'67 to early '68. This is a true drip edge/black line amp and even has the original large magnet 10J5 speaker that sounds amazing. It's clean, original, and in nice playing condition. I'm confident you'll love this 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb~Amp! (edit: sold!)
