This clean 1960 Gibson GA-5 T Skylark guitar amp with tremolo came in along with its matching 1961 Gibson Les Paul Junior guitar a few years ago. I'm always a vintage Gibson guitar buyer but I especially love the guitars and amps from 1960 and 1961. You can contact me here to sell a Gibson guitar.

This 1960 Gibson GA-5T Skylark Tremolo was given as a gift along with a 1961 Gibson Les Paul Junior as a gift to a beginning musician in 1961. The student soon lost interest in music and both the guitar and amplifier went into storage. As a result, the amp was preserved in excellent cosmetic and structural condition. These amps are known for their warm tube crunch similar to a Fender Champ. The Skylark Tremolo GA-5T featured a 5Y3 rectifier, EL-84 power tube and 12AX7 preamp tube.
This amp still retains its original Gibson brand tubes that appear to be RCA for the rectifier and Amperex preamp and power tube. The filter capacitors were replaced as a part of standard maintenance but the rest of the circuit is original. It even still has the original Jensen 8" speaker (edit: sold!)
