1965 Epiphone E230T Casino
I purchased this 1965 Epiphone 230T Casino from the son of its original owner a few weeks ago. I was immediately drawn to it because it had all the same Beatles features like the transitional neck width and nickel parts. I checked the serial number (328290) and found that it is only 103 numbers away from John Lennon's own Epiphone Casino, serial number 328393. Beatles connection aside, it's a truly great playing and sounding example that's 100% original and in excellent playing condition.
Make and Model: Epiphone E230T Casino made by Gibson in Kalamazoo, MI.
Year: 1965. Serial number "328290".
Measurements:
Originality: All parts and finish are original to this guitar except the strings! The old silk wrapped flat wound strings that were on it when it came in are coiled up inside the case.
Playability: Excellent. The neck is straight, frets are excellent, and the electronics operate as intended.
Included: Original grey/blue hardshell case, original hang tag, and business card of its original owner.
