1960 Fender Custom Telecaster Sunburst
We feel very fortunate to be able to offer a very special 1960 Fender Custom Telecaster in original sunburst! This is one of our favorite Teles we have ever had in the shop and I’m sure you can see why. It’s perfectly aged in all the right places and plays how all Telecasters should. Other than a replaced volume potentiometer and capacitor, this thing is 100% factory original.
Measurements: 7.3 lbs / 3.25 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.64" / 41.6 mm wide at the nut, 0.80" deep at the first fret, and 0.98" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 7.58k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 7.10k ohms.
Originality: All parts and finish are original to this guitar except for a replaced volume potentiometer (authentic 1959 date code pot) and capacitor (reproduction phone book cap).
Playability: Excellent! This Tele has been freshly set up and plays like a dream.
Condition: Very good with light forearm wear and some finish checking on the clear lacquer on the neck.
Included: The original hard shell case and bridge cover are included.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
