Gibson Les Paul Special 1957 with Lifton case

I'm thrilled to offer this 1957 Gibson Les Paul Special in original Limed Mahogany finish (TV Yellow) to the market for the first time since it was sold new! It's the perfect mix of nicely preserved with no breaks or repairs but showing enough checking and wear to be unmistakably a vintage 1950s Les Paul. It has been well protected inside its original 5 latch Lifton hardshell case (included!).

Measurements: 7.6 lbs / 3.45 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.69" (1 11/16") wide at the nut, 0.88" deep at the first fret, and 1.00" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 8.2k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 9.1k ohms.

Repairs: None! 

Originality: This guitar is 100% original except the tuner buttons. 

Playability: Very good! Fret wear on original frets is the only thing keeping it from being perfect. I thought it was still nice to play so I haven't refretted it. 

Condition: Very good with nice finish checking and some nicks and dings. There's larger ding on the treble side of the top of the headstock. There's a small lacquer separation at the fretboard extension but it's 100% stable and has never been broken (wood is dynamic - it moves over time but lacquer does not).

Included: The original Lifton hardshell case is included. It has a small hole in the lid from the switch tip.
