1974 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Cherry Red

Regular price $1.00

This 1974 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in rare original Cherry Red finish has survived in incredible nearly unplayed condition. Not all 70s Gibsons are the same, and the ones I seek out are the Mahogany neck examples made in the early 70s in the original Kalamazoo, Michigan factory. It's taken a long time to track down one of the rare Cherry Red examples in the sea of Sunburst LP Deluxes. I'm confident you'll love playing this one as much as as it is fun to look at!

Measurements: 9.4lbs (4.25 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.70" wide at the nut, 0.82" deep at the first fret, and 1.02" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 5.87k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 5.99k ohms.

Dates: The potentiometer codes read "137 740x" (137 = CTS, 74 = 1974, and first 9 weeks of the year but the last digit is covered by solder).

Originality: All finish, parts, and solder are original to this guitar!

Playability: Excellent! The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended. The frets are nearly unplayed.

Condition: Excellent! This Cherry Red stain is vibrant and unfaded. It's never had a neck break or repair.

Included: The original case is included with this guitar.

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
