1970 Fender Princeton Reverb Amp

This vintage 1970 Fender Princeton Reverb guitar amp has survived in amazing original condition and is ready for the stage, studio, or collection. It has just been serviced by my technician and is in excellent playing condition.

Year: 1970. Output transformer code 606-9-33 (Schumacher, 1969, 33rd week), reverb transformer code 606-0-17 (Schumacher, 1970, 17th week), speaker code 465-942 (Oxford, 1969, 42nd week). How to date a vintage Fender guitar amp.

Condition: Excellent! This is a very clean example with light oxidation on the metal parts on the top of the amp. The interior is very clean.

Originality: All parts are original to the amp except for the tubes, added bias trim pot, replaced 1k resistor, grounded power cord installed. The power tubes are late 70s Fender brand RCA tubes. 

Playability: Excellent! This is a very fine sounding example.

Notes: Not all silverface Fender Princeton Reverbs were created equal. This one was made just after the discontinuation of the aluminum grill trim but still has cool 60s features including a fingerjointed Pine cabinet, no pull boost circuitry, and "-AMP" on the faceplate. It's also super clean and could be mistaken for a reissue. I'm confident you'll love this clean 1970 Fender Princeton Reverb-Amp!
