1962 Gibson SG Special Maestro Vibrola
This 1962 Gibson SG Special is all original! We got this one in from the sister of its original owner, and you can tell this guitar has been loved and kept in great condition for decades. Finished in original Cherry and fitted with soap bar P90s, Maestro Vibrola, and binding on the fretboard, it has the ability to be a gorgeous wall ornament and a players main gigging guitar simultaneously.
Measurements: 6.8 lbs / 3.2 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.73" / 44.0 mm wide at the nut, 0.85" deep at the first fret, and 0.92" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup measures 8.34k ohms and the bridge pickup measures 8.12k ohms.
Originality: All parts, finish, and solder is original to this guitar.
Playability: Excellent. The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, frets have very little wear, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.
Condition: Incredible! It's near mint with no finish deterioration anyway. Slight discolouration on the neck.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
