1962 Fender Jaguar Olympic White Slab

This 1962 Fender Jaguar in original Olympic White finish comes from the rare overlap of both the slab fretboard and the matching headstock! It has survived in amazing all original condition and plays like a dream. It still has its original hang tag, hard shell case, and bridge cover. 

Make and Model: Fender Jaguar

Year: 1962. Neck heel date stamp "1MAY62B" (1 = Jaguar model, May, 62 = 1962, B = standard nut width 1 5/8"). Volume potentiometer code "304 6218" indicating the 18th week of 1962. Serial 79xxx. Check out How To Date a Fender Jaguar. 

Specifications: 8 lbs 10 oz, 1 5/8" nut width, .80" neck depth at the first fret, 1" depth at the 12th. 

Originality: All parts original to the guitar except for two height adjustment saddle screws. I've replaced the original foam under the pickups and mute with new foam. The original neck shim and foams are in the case. 

Condition: Excellent! The finish shows plenty of checking and dings. There's finish wear on the back of the neck. 

Playability: Excellent! The neck is straight, the frets are good, and all electronics are clean. I've set it up with a 1 degree taper neck shim for proper geometry.
