1959 Fender Stratocaster
I purchased this 1959 Fender Stratocaster in original Sunburst finish with all the tags and receipt from its original owner in Davie, Florida only a few weeks ago! It's a stunning example and likely the cleanest 1950s Stratocaster I've ever seen.
Measurements: 7.3 lbs/3.3 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.65" wide at the nut, 0.80" deep at the first fret, and 0.99" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 5.7k ohms, middle reads 5.5k ohms, and the bridge pickup read 5.8k ohms (all within standard range for Strat pickups).
Originality: All finish, parts, and solder are original to this guitar except for one solder joint (finish side of middle pickup coil). No tape or other solder was disturbed to reconnect the middle coil.
Playability: Excellent. The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, frets have almost zero wear, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.
Condition: Pristine. No excuses.
Included: The original case, bridge cover, tremolo arm, leather strap, receipt from purchase when new, hang tag, instruction manual, and cleaning cloth are included.
Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
